Well i am exhausted - i have just turned a mighty one year old!!!!! Mum and dad were really busy all evening rushing round making sure all the rellies were fed and watered but managed to catch me in the act of trying to grab a beer (or 2) while i thought no-one was watching....

the night was a lot of fun with the older cousins filling amy up on smarties and helping me to walk behind my trolley.

I am very fast.

I can also stand by myself for about 15 seconds but am still a bit uneasy about taking a step forward - one day I will be able to catch up with Zara my buddy.

I wore a very cool vest sent from her and Katey today, and Amy was in her London dress too looking rather smashing as well.

Mum has been really busy this week - she has had a student nanny to help her out - the house is so spick and span its amazing - the nanny loves to tidy, but sadly has no clue when it comes to keeping an eye on us. Yesterday amy asked to play with nail polish and once the nanny gave it to her she told the nanny to go away. So she did. Mummy found her in her room with both her hands covered in the polish right up to her wrists. Mummy constantly has to remind her to keep an eye on me as I havent figured out how to get down off the deck yet, and that concrete is a fairly hard material to whack my head on from a wee height. Today she wore heels to work - making it very difficult for her to play with amy whilst on the bark in the playground.

Anyway at least the laundry gets done!!

So here are some more pics - me gettting right into noodles, a walk in the forest with nana and Lorelei, Amy asleep at montessori school (she fell asleep eating at the table), Amy in the sink for something to do whist mum made dinner, and amy with daisy at Orana park.

This afternoon mum needed to get us both to sleep and since the pram allows only one of us to sleep at a time, and since Amy refuses to sleep in her bed during the day, mum decided to go for a drive. So we all went to the waimak and we watched george frolic and fossick around by the river and then he ran beside the car at 42km/hr!! Then we fell asleep. Then we woke up back at home where i played for a bit in the sandpit with my friend Finlay who had come to visit.

Yesterday mum refused to tidy and took photos of me instead while amy was at montessori. We had a great time together and i only peed on the carpet twice.

I had a great day with my big sister today - it was a warm 17 degrees so mum got out the baby bath and we had a great time splashing each other - until amy kicked me out cos she wanted to lie down in it, so i packed a sad. The tears stopped as soon as i was put in the swing tho!

Here are some shots of Amy - the first one is when she had a bug and just flopped around on the floor all week, her favourite bedtime book at the moment is a book full of cutsie animal pics, and here she is getting readu to jump up in the jack-in-the -box song, and just another posing shot - she lies still if she gets to see the photo taken of her straightaway.

It looks like my mum is giving me dodgy finger food agian - i prefer to have it shovelled into me on a spoon - but after a thorough examination of the blobs placed in front of me it was only ravioli - quite edible after all.








Mum is pleased with me - i have only been waking once in the night at 2am ish. I seem to have forgotten to wake at 11pm for a quick topup, but i think now that i am over my bronchiotitis bug i am back to eating rather large meals again, so i reckon i will be able to sleep thru the night in no time!!
